This guide outlines the steps to securely connect your GCP VPC to Quix services using Private Service Connect. Quix will provide the necessary details, and you will need to configure your GCP environment accordingly. Click here for GCP documentation.

What You Need to Provide to Quix
Before Quix can set up the service endpoint, please provide the following detail:
- The GCP Region where you want to deploy the endpoint
- Project ID(s) you wish to connect from and the number of connections you plan on establishing.
What Quix Will Provide
Once we receive your details, Quix will provide:
- Target Service URI
- Entry for private DNS Zone (e.g.,
*.gcp-regi-0.app.quix.io
)
- Required Ports for communication (80, 443, private Kafka ports)
Steps to Connect
1. Create a Private Service Connect Endpoint
- Go to GCP Console → Private Service Connect → Connected Endpoints.
- Select Target as Published service
- Enter Target Service Name Quix provided.
- Select your VPC network and subnet.
- Select a private IP in your VPC.
